In 1973 Bill began studying with the legend, TONY SLYDINI,
one of the two most influential, pure sleight of hand experts
and teachers of general magic in the 20th century.

Bill Wisch is the only student ever to receive
authorization by Slydini to lecture his magic.
In 1976 Slydini wrote a letter to all magic societies and
associations in North America, sponsoring Bill to take his
place and introduce the long awaited, two-volume, book set,
"THE BEST OF SLYDINI AND MORE".
Bill lectured SLYDINI'S methods and techniques, as well as his own,
to thousands of magicians in 38 cities across the US and Canada.
In 1978, Bill went on another 36 city lecture tour following
the publication of SLYDINI'S final, two volume companion set,
"THE MAGICAL WORLD OF SLYDINI".

Each tour was a resounding success and established Bill as
a major performer, inventor, contributor and influence on the
world magic scene. Since then Bill has presented over 400
lectures to his peers with his video's, books, articles and theories
about sleight of hand being so innovative that literally thousands
of magicians around the world have adapted and adopted them.

Demonstrating SLYDINI'S famous "Helicopter Card Routine"

Over the years practically every magic periodical has
had at least one of his articles or effects, but the
“Special Bill Wisch issue” of GENII in September 1984
was exclusive and according to the late publisher,
Bill Larsen, one of the most requested back-issues in
the entire history of the magazine, due to the unique
content and innovative photograpic explanations.

From 1997 to 2001, Bill performed literally
thousands of cabaret and close-up shows as house
magician at Caesars Pocono Palace.
